• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help- Small Bubbles in my Oil

Sonrisa

I just changed my oil & filter and after runnning and checking the dip stick I have found bubbles on the dip stick. What did I do wrong. We are going on a trip to Key West tomorrow morning.:gaah::gaah:

Thank You Lamont

I was afraid I did something wrong. This was the first time I changed the oil and am now using Amsoil from Ken. I had never noticed the bubbles before when the BRP oil was in my RTS.:2thumbs:

I also had bubbles (foaming) with BRP's semi synthetic. I timed it to see how long it took for the bubbles to subside, 40 seconds. I now have Amsoil in my RT and no more bubbles.

oil fizz

I switched to Bel Ray 0w40 and have no more fizz. After you get the engine hot try to turn it off, wait a few minutes for the fizz to go down and then start it up and let it run for abut 30 seconds then turn it off again and check the oil. I think that first shutdown might give the fizz time to go away.
