• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2008 SE5 & I saw a spyder the other day that had some kind of padded knee guards on each side where the knees hug the body .. there are 2 bolts there in that area of my spyder now ...
Anyway I want to order them but can't seem to find on any of the sites I am looking at ... has anyone else out there seen them & know what I'm talking about & where I can get them ? :dontknow:

Yep, that's a factory option, the side panel trim kit. It's on BRP's website:

Make sure you apply glue to the gasket. :doorag:

I'm interested in those knee guards too but they look like they're too short to protect the body panels from your knees. I'm wear a 30 in inseam and when I look at where my knee hits the side panel and then measure those pads the pads are too short. My knee will still reach beyond them. Maybe some one can explain why I'm wrong here. I'd like to avoid scratching up the side panel with my knees. :dontknow:
