• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This is related to F3-T 2016 SM6.
I have 2 questions.

1. I stripped a bolt and I am not able to see it on canam's part list website. (top part of the attached picture)
Would appreciate if someone can tell me the part number so that I can order it.

2. I am trying to attach a screw (bottom part of the attached picture) and it doesn't fit snug. Any tips on how to get it to fit tightly.
Using a 10mm socket wrench. Its basically used to attach the plastic piece which has 3 holes to the metal frame.

Thanks.

If the hole you're pointing to is the bottom one of the three, it may not be stripped. Those holes have a copper insert that the screw screws in to. The copper fitting may have broke loose from the hole it's in.

You have to put the screw in as best you can, then pry it (the copper insert) out. Once out, you need to secure it back in the hole using liquid weld or a similar product. Allow 48 hours to dry. You should be good to go after that.

If that's not the hole you're talking about, then never mind.

You are right on the money "Copperman". Is there a way to get a replacement copper insert, I think it might have broken loose/fallen inside/lost/all of the above.
What's plan B? Thanks a million.

I would start by paying a visit to your dealer and talking with their Spyder mechanic. If he doesn't have one to give you he may be able to tell you where to get one.

Good luck.
