Am I the only person who has problems getting a helmet to fit and putting it on and off?
Look at the measurements I made at http://www.wb2lua.com/marticles.htm
As you can see the CL-33 shell is much wider at the jaw line than the IS33 II. The IS33 II hurts my ears putting it on and off. The newer materials used in helmets today make it more difficult to spread the jaw. My ears hurt every time I put the IS33 II on or off. No problem with the CL-33. The downside of the CL-33 is that it doesn't have a drop down sun visor and the interior is not removable. I live on Long Island and ride east and west with the sun almost always facing me.
I've been wearing helmets for 45 years. I never had this problem before.
