• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Helmet Communications

I am contemplating buying a Shark Evoline 2 ST helmet with the Sharktooth package. Before I do, I'm trying to figure out what I will be able to do with the Sharktooth as it relates to my 2010 RT Audio and Convenience. I would like to be able to listen to music from my I Touch through the helmet speakers rather than the Spyder speakers, as well as a portable GPS, and Droid phone. Any help or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time,

SORRY BUT I CAN'T HELP YOU ON YOUR QUESTION, BUT IF I MAY. I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT COMMUNICATION FOR TWO RIDERS, WE JUST BOUGHT A :spyder2: 2011 RS SE5 NOW WERE LOOKING FOR A HEAD SET WE CAN USE BETWEEN THE TWO SPYDER 2010 RT AND 2011 RS CAN ANYONE HELP US THANKS.JC

I use the Scala Rider teamset pro. Very basic but very practical and inexpensive. Driver to passenger intercom, blue tooth mobile phone, gps and mp3. Not for use with bike to bike. But very happy with this unit, comes with two headsets. $175.00 e-bay no tax free shipping. Just depends on what you are looking for.

After purchasing our 2010 RT A/C we looked at many helmet to helmet bluetooth sets. I almost went with the Scala. but tried an inexpensive set off amazon from goodeals18 dot com. The first set was garbage, returned it for a refund and before i had picked up a Scala unit, gooddeals18 sent me a replacement to try out, this unit works great and has a range of around 500 yard line of sight so would be OK for bike to bike.
Next set will probably be a Scala system but for now the Shark I have works fine.
