• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

heat

I had an 08 until this past May. Dropped the heat by that much by having the Spyder re-programed to the specs of a 2012 RS.

Sweet . . . the Vertika scoops look good, to, but so darn expensive.

EXPENSIVE...?????????? :ohyea: NOT :lecturef_smilie:
these r DIY scoops.... 1/16" aluminum sheet cost me $3.00 at the scrap yard and $3.97 for RUSTOLEUM 'hammered' paint @ Walmarts... and about 2 hrs. labor....
it was fun... and CHEAP...

Nicely done..!!

they should work for a lot of years RS/RSS. Looks great on and if one gets the template quite easy..congrats..!! :2thumbs:

Dan, nice job, but I know you decided to do it after seeing my Spyder and hearing how much the scoops cost!

I realize these are home made and cheap and "sweet" was the part of my comment concerning them . . . the expensive comment had to do with the Veritika scoops. I have a 2013 RT which is a different design. so your scoop might not fit . . . nor have I the expertise to do what you did.

Nice.

If demand was high enough these could be injection molded.

Edit: They could also be stamped using a softer moldable plastic.

Something similar would work well on RT's too. Especially those with the new adjustable wings.

heat scoops

Very nice. If you could post a scale drawing for the template then I am sure many of us would attempt to make a set also. I can copy well but not much good on originality.
