• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Headed to Lexington VA. Blueridge Mountains. Questions

Crisis

New member
Hi,
I will traveling from New York to Lexington VA. in two weeks with 6 other friends (All on Harleys :hun:). I will be staying for 5 days and staying in Lexington.
Any advice on where to ride, eat, entertainment etc would be greatly appreciated as this is our first trip to this area.
Thanks in advance!!

If you have not planned to do so, I suggest you plan the route of your choice to Front Royal, VA and then take Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway to US-60 where you can exit to Buena Vista and Lexington. Since you're going to be in Lexington for multiple days you can ride farther south on the BRP and return via local roads. IMO riding on I-81 is a waste of good gasoline. Safe riding!

:agree: with JayBros, I81 is fine as long as you do not mind riding along with 50 to 60% truck traffic. Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway are much more scenic
and normally not congested, also more curvy!! Ride safe and have a great trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
