• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On the weekend of July 4th I knocked the back of my legs (again) against the %$#%&*%$ steel cross beams behind the ladder into the front starters stand at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. Because my right leg is "bad" (crushed and burned when a drunk driver hit me on my Yamaha XS 500 in Key West in 1980) it made two small cuts on the back of my leg and it's often difficult for someone like me to get the open wounds to heal.

Well, because they're STILL open and I've had to go to a wound specialist and wear a compression bandage, I've only been able to ride my RT twice since then...and it doesn't look like I'll be able to ride again until at least sometime in October.

Yes, yes, I know I'm whining...I'm just feeling frustrated.

At least I live in Florida and October is a great time for riding...

:)

Speedy recovery! Hope you are back riding soon! We will be putting ours away in a month or so, in this part of the world!

Sorry to hear about the injury.

We live just South of you.

Oct will be here very soon and FWIW, it has been screaming hot until just the last few days. Basically saying, it was kind of miserable hot to ride.

Bummer..!!

hang in there..October is a couple weejs away. Sorry you have to go through this but sounds like you will be ryding soon...

Getting better everyday

It's Getting Better
Get yourself healed up well before worrying about Spyder rydes.Nothing is more important than well being, your personal health.Eh, please don't kid yourself about this, the bike rides and other excitements can wait until you are fit and ready, for any action that might occur out there. Is there someone perhaps you could ride with. Take the strain off of your injury.I wish you a speedy recovery and a trouble free future. Hope you get back to ryding real soon but only after you heal enough to not be a concern.

Chas

I hope you get back to riding when the real season begins in Florida. I'm sure you would have been miserable with the high humidity and the over abundance of bugs. At least you can keep telling yourself that.

Getting wounds to close back up...
I know what that's like! :gaah:
Just keep doing what the Doctors ar telling you; for what they cost these days, it'd be a shame to waste all of that money anyway... :banghead:
Keeping our fingers crossed for a rapid and complete recovery for you!
