have you seen this reason for vss mode

09 rs sm5 im getting a vss mode after the spyder has been running and shut off it will start the first time from cold and run as long as you ride but then after you stop and restart it starts fine but will throw the screen with the prestart check list all dash lites come on even though its running it will continue to run but if it does this three times it will freak out nanny and shut down , i 'll check battery and relays but i dont think it is the problem it starts fine and will run fine as long as you want to ride until you shut off and restart

i guess nobody has seen this happen any other time ive had a vss fault it wouldn't engage the starter

Don't know..!!

seems to be an electrical connection. Reseat all fuses and relays and check all battery connections. The nanny is sensative to loose connections and throws codes it's not sure of. Do you actually get any codes..?? Or just the vss...:dontknow:

Vss then shut down no codes it will act like you almost killed it even though it is already running it won't shut down until 3 dash lite ups (all lites on like when you first turn on key) hit mode switch like the before you start bs keeps running ok but if this happen 3 times then it will shut down

have you removed the key and walked away so the computers can reset..?? You can also disconnect the battery to reset. Otherwise you may have to have her hooked up to the buds sysytem to get a read out on whats going on...:thumbup:

I will reset by walking away with key but it mite start all over again mite not if you get through it all and it's running it will run forever

cleaned the wheel sensors and pulled and reset all relays seems to have fixed
