Today is November 10th. The Birthday of the Marine Corps.
Happy birthday, to all Marines, (Active Duty, Reservist, Retired, MIA’s and those no longer serving in the corps). Let us not forget our fallen Leathernecks. Sometime during your day today, say a simple prayer for all those currently serving in a combat zone. We all know someone who has a Father, Mother, or child currently serving, or has served. You may not appreciate the importance of this date. Those Fathers, Mothers and children do. Take the time, give them a call and say Happy Birthday.
Since the Marine Corps was started in a Tavern in 1775. It has always been my tradition to stop by tavern, buy a drink for myself, and any Marines there. Then we raise our glasses, to toast all that have served.
