Handlebar clamp screw size

Looking to add the RAM mount ball to my handle bar clamp. The one I'm looking at replaces one of the clamp screws with an M8 bolt. it comes with 3 different length m8 bolts. Is that the right size bolt?

I hadn't considered this RAM mount, was going to get the handlebar clamp but I like this; ordered two of them today (as long as the threaded holes is 8mm or smaller, it can be adapted. limited by the hole in the ball itself.)

Well, here's the low down: the screws that come with the RAM mount are 8mm x 1.25, three different lengths (all too long anyway). The Ryker bolts are 6mm x 1.0. I sourced a correct size in the correct length and installed the RAM ball. I LOVE IT! Using a short RAM arm, I could position my Zumo 550 just right to see it easily without interfering with the digital readout of the Ryker. I bought two of the balls and I think I'm going to put the second one on as well (was going to trade it to my buddy for his Rally.)
