• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Please elaborate . . . Does flatten mean reduce the padding? If not, what?

Guessing you are speaking of flattening those horrid points on the seat back? Even with those gone I don't think the stock seat would have worked for us; uncomfortable after lots of miles.
But, if it worked for you, great :clap:and you're sure right about the money saved.

cut bottom foam flat. before it felt like you were sitting on a ball ,with your weight on your 2 bottom bones. best i know how to explane it. excuse typing and spelling, been out of school a long time.

Understood, we didn't like the seat either. Made the butt position very uncomfortable and yes pressing into the bones down there.
Happy riding.

I guess it all depends. I've done 13k+ on the stock seat. Seems fine to me.

I am politically incorrect, maybe I'm anatomically incorrect as well? :dontknow:

I get butt-sore on long rides -- but I find the seat fine too!
