H8 to H11 no checkmate

So I was going to change the H8 bulbs in the fog lights on our RTs to H11. No go.The H11 will not go in. The fog light housing has HB3, H11 and H8 molded in to it. H11 is a direct replacement for H8. Except, it seems, on the Spyder. :gaah:HB3 is a 9005 bulb, in case you wanted to know. A while back, a friend had an H8 go out in a fog light on his truck. He could not find a replacement H8 in any of the parts stores. He went to H11. I told him if he needed any more H11s, I've got them.

no wonder we have to stock so many parts...They always have to make things a bit different. But good to know...thanks..!! :thumbup:

H11's will fit by filing down the larger tab a little, check out my post on it. Takes about two minutes per bulb.
