• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Growling Spyder

I have noticed that for the last few weeks after I start the engine I can hear a growling sound coming from under the front of my RT. It may only last 3-5 seconds, but it is now more noticable and frequent, occuring at random times.
I have not heard it with the engine off, and the machine still runs fine and handles great. I know the DPS is under there, but there is another motor or something there above the suspension area in the center.
Has anyone experienced this and if so what is it?????
Thanks for any input. C-YA RL

That's a good one. I dont have a good answer--but sure someone will.

The dog is okay--right?:roflblack:

:popcorn::popcorn:

If it's an RT-S, could be the air compressor? :dontknow: If it's running more than usual, could be an air leak. I had mine repaired under warranty.

R.L., I've had the same sound. I likened it more to a frog around midnight. I've suspected that it has something to do with the back shock settings, but what do I know?

If you and Mary are gonna be going on the ride to Cedar Key, perhaps we can compare noises.?? :yikes:

That just sounds x rated :D

I don't mean to be rude but I'm wondering if you have hearing problems or less than good hearing? The compressor sound is pretty noticeable and occurs fairly often so I would think that you would be familiar with the sound.

Actually I do. I wear hearing aids most of the time.
