Had a great weekend ryde over the 3 day weekend. My wife and I managed to make 5 checkpoints on our RCMC Grand Tour books around Southern Oregon. 860 miles in 2 1/2 days was a little more than we usually like to do, we like to stop and smell the roses but I only had the 3 days off as I'm saving my vacation days for the Deadwood Rally in July.
We had great weather although it started to get over the high 80s and into the 90s a couple times. Stayed at a couple great campgrounds that were close to some great restaurants so we never even broke out the cooking gear. Added a mattress topper to the bed and that made a huge difference in a good nights sleep. Mt Shasts had plenty snow left from this winter and was beautiful. Trina even enjoyed stalking some local turkeys one evening.
