I would be a little concerned about safety. I guess you are depending on the vehicle brakes to hold the vehicle in position.
I have to pay to get mine worked on now.

they look to have a depression/opening in the top platform so that the wheel drops into it when you release it off the jack - if you watch the vid at 12-17 seconds you can see the wheel drop into & centre itself in the hole. So it's actually the weight of the vehicle that's holding it in place, not the vehicle brakes at all! :thumbup:

Pretty swish looking devices, a 4 post hoist for each wheel! Smart!
