• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

None that I have seen on mine

and none in the manual.... They were on the 13' so I expected to see them in the same location on the 14', but not the case. My curiosity was spiked so I looked harder at the machine, consulted the manual, and talked to the dealer, and all confirmed, no zerk fittings.

 We're Zerkless?
As much as I hate getting grease all over everything but the inside of those fittings; how can this really be a good thing? :dontknow:

Grease points

Grease points are really old school, most joints/bearings are pre packed and maintenance free nowadays and have been for a very long time, I was surprised to find them on my 2013.

Trying to learn here...

So most joints/bearings are pre packed and sealed these days?

How often do they need to be replaced?

Yeah, I'm old school...

Replacement

Sorry I don't have a definitive answer to that question, it's like how long is a piece of string. There are so many variables that contribute to the life of a component, they are sealed for "life" and need replacing when they wear out.

Good to know..!!

another thing to not worry about.. They are a bit of a hassel unless you popped the frunk off...:gaah:

It always made me feel just a little bit useful; if I was getting grease smeared all over something, a couple of times each season! :D

As I get older I find my skills being more useless each and every day. Now i'm told "no grease needed"? :roflblack:

Thankfully; I have one skill that refuses to go out of style...
I can always serve as a perfectly bad example... :opps:
