Many many thanks to the folks on this board for steering me to Ron P's replacement for the windshield arm that breaks. Had the shop install it today; manager told me not to wait, it would be done sometime tomorrow. Called me 3 hours later said it was done!

Rode around raising and lowering the the shield for while. Works fine! Actually costs less then the replacement with stock that I had done last year. THe shop was real impressed the quality of Ron's work. They laughed at the defective one they removed and gave to me.

Thanks again, Ron! Great product.
Maybe I shouldn't have said anything about happy camper. I just got back from 5 days of camping in the rain. Of course, the organizer arranged for us to go OUT TO EAT FOR ALMOST EVERY MEAL during the entire camp-out! That's what I call good camping....
