• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GPS pin cover

The soft rubber cover that covers the GPS pins disappeared, don't know a part number and don't know even if it's a can-am part or a garmin part. Looked through some of the part diagrams but not even sure what I'm searching for, any clues? 2016 RT limited

The GPS cover is NOT a Garmin part. Even if you find a number you will not be able to purchase from Garmin.
The cover at least the "Harley" version of the 660 (using the GPS that came from my Harley) would need to be purchased from HD Dealer (they would order it for you).
I assume the same is true with Spyder . . . but cannot affirm.

I lost my second cover 4 months ago and considering the cost and the hassle of going back to my local HD Dealer, I opted to use Kradlelock and leave the GPS in place 24/7 unless updating or loading data.

Although mine is a Zumo 590, the pin cover in the picture came with it and, IMO, looks a lot better than that ugly, industrial strength GPS mount condom. Why not contact Garmin to see if they have such a cover for the 660. The Kradellock also keeps the cover locked in place.

710001538 GPS Protector Support. Package LTD $9.32 USD That is the dealer retail price.

I do the same as JayBros. I do not use the BRP cover. It's not water tight anyway. I use the Garmin weather cap. It is watertight. It fits in the the GPS protective storage case. So you won't lose it. Your Spyder will have come with one when new. So go find it.
