GPS Coords for Route 66 and Northern Route

It took me awhile but I was able to get the GPS coordinates for many of the Route 66 attractions from MO to CA, as well as those along the Northern Route from CA to MO. The attachment is in Garmin format.

Maybe Firefly or Ken can convert it into a file that is directly transferable...I don't know how

Give me some time -- a week or so -- and I will convert it for you. I do some of it by hand so it isn't an automatic process.

Also, a Rt 66 came installed on my Garmin 550; I can send it to you and you can install on yours. It may be just what you want.

Finally, you might want to look at poi-factory.com where you can download all sorts of poi files (like all the Walmarts in the US or all the Dunkin Donuts, etc.). They have at least one Rt. 66 file for free download.

As I said, the Garmin 550 file may be all that you need.

Ken...the Route 66 file was in my Garmin 660 too but the attractions list isn't complete. In fact, it's pretty bad
