• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GPS Bluetooth

I am rolling a 2015 Limited which came with Garmin GPS. The GPS will "pair" with two Bluetooth devices. My question: My wife's phone is Bluetooth enabled. If I get a Bluetooth phone and headsets for each phone, will we be able to communicate without actually making a call between the phones?

Thanks.

With my Sena 20S, yes. Not sure with others.
I have 2015 RTL with the Garmin 590 GPS also.
I pair my headset with my GPS and the GPS with the phone, she pairs her headset with her phone. I can make and receive phone calls, listen to music, hear GPS directions, and she can be making a phone call without interfering with me. The intercom will not work while in a phone call, but otherwise it mutes the music so you can talk.
Because we share my music, when I get a phone call, her music is paused until I am done with the conversation.
She can also listen to different music than me by listening to music from her phone, or from the built in FM radio in the headset, and the intercom still works.
Works great when one wants to listen to sports and one wants music.
