Got the Spyder out of summer storage after 5 months!

It was on a battery tender; however, it would not start. So I used jump pack to start it. Took it for a 1.5 hour ride to Saguaro Lake and back to Gold Canyon. Shut it off and it still will not start. The Battery was replaced with a Power Source WP 50-N18L-A3 sealed battery in October of 2023 by the previous owner.
Looks like NAPA has a battery available in Apache Junction. I will call when they open in 15 minutes.

At any rate, I had a nice ride over Usery Pass and got to do the dips and curves on the Bush Highway to Saguaro Lake and back.

Ended up at Batteries Plus in Mesa and got an Extreme XTAX24HL-BS $121.83 including tax with Veteran's discount. Now it starts right up. I will do a morning ride again tomorrow before it gets too hot.

Also, I took two blue (12g) ring style terminal ends, removed the insulator piece, and installed them on the battery bolts sticking forward, to make a better place to clamp on the jump pack cables in the future.

Yes when I bought it in January 2024.

Took another early morning ride in the tweetsies. Fueled up at Circle K in Gold Canyon and reset the clock to 6:37, then rode to Tortilla Flats and back 41 miles arriving home at 7:47. Lots of 15 and 20 MPH painted on the corners on this road. This is a very popular bike ride in the East Valley of Phoenix.
