• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got the spyder out for the season and it needs a little oil added....

I got my spyder out and was checking it over and noticed the oil was below the dipstick and was going to add some but I'm not sure what oil to add. I know I did the oil change last time with the SE5 oil change kit from the Can-am dealer. What oil is it? I have some XPS oil on the shelf but I'm thinking it was for the Seadoo because it's Semi-synthetic rather than full synthetic??? I have some 5w-40 full synthetic on the shelf just not sure. Please help and thanks in advance

The BRP oil I got from the Dealer is XPS synthetic blend oil summer grade.

Edit: Make sure the engine is up to operating temperature before checking the oil!

That should be fine to add although i use full synthetic 10W40 with motorcycle rating for air and watter cooled engines.
