• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

(NOTE: I recommend purchasing the camera through SpyderLovers GoPro link !!)

Lamont .. this GoPro is such an awesome camera - perhaps you can combine all "GoPro" posts into one thread??

..

I think the best place is your helmet. Any other place on the bike is in a static position. At least when it's on your helmet, you can move the position of the gopro by moving your head. That's JMO b/c I have a gopro and I have tried in a few places on the bike.

However, I do agree about placing the gopro in one general area; but, that will become cumbersome after awhile since not everybody is going to look for the one 'gopro' post to add their posts. That would leave Lamont to do it and that's not right.

Not sure how they come now but two years back when I bought my GoPro camera, it came with about 4 or 5 bases. The camera mount had a snap in piece that fit into the base. I placed one of the flat bases on my Spyder's lower side panel and one of the curved ones to the top of my helmet. Then I could swap the camera from one place to the other depending on how I wanted to capture pictures or video.
