• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We get to hear a lot of the bad about the vendors/dealers that keep us ryding, so I thought I'd share an example at the the other end of the scale.

The rubber on the shift peg was transferring to my combat boots (tan suede), so I looked for a solution and came across Ryder Clips Shift Socks in http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12163&highlight=shift+sock and http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12054&highlight=shift+sock. Turns out that both of these threads highlight my point exactly. The product does allow me to enjoy riding my Spyder without having to change out of my uniform or worry about having to clean the mark off the boot.

More importantly, though, the folks at Ryder Clips are amazing! I also had to really work to zip the Shiftsock over the shift peg, but it does its job well. However, the end cap popped open, so I dropped them a line on their website. I'd barely hit send before my phone rang. It was Bobbie Chahoc, Ryder Clips' president, apologizing and verifying my information so she could send me a replacement pair. Now that's what I call taking care of your customers! :2thumbs:
