• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Glo Ryder Light Installation

ARtraveler

R.I.P. Dwayne
I just finished installing my 3rd set of Glo Ryder Lights. This set is for my 2010 RTS. Orange for those who want to know. I do not recommend taking off the wheel as the instructions state. I just popped the O ring decoration off the wheel with a screwdriver, and installed the Glo Ryder ring in its place. The whole operation took me less than 10 minutes to complete. Quarters are close either way you do it--but it works much faster for me this way. My original installation was the take off the wheel method. Hope this helps those who go for the Glo Ryders. They do make the bike look great and give extra lighting when dark.

Lamont posted a video not too long ago showing the new adapter they have now. Did this one come with the new adapter, or is it the same as your others?

The ones I got had the same adaptor as the others. Not a new one. I purchased the unit back in April and just got around to putting it on. It does not get dark here in Alaska during the summer, so I took my time with the installation. The lights will be kicking in on the evening rides in two or three weeks now.

That makes sense, I forgot all about the not getting dark for a long time deal. :D

I may move a set of these up a little higher on my priority list as well.

Be advised that according to GloRyder,

Warranty information
Disclaimer: Custom Cap Designs effect the light sensor and in some instances may cause the circuit board to come on in the daylight.

The Spyder GloRyders will stay on all the time because the Spyder design in the cap will not let enough light in to make them shut off.

Mine come on and will not go off.
