GIVI topbox mounting instructions

Does anyone have the instructions for the GIVI topbox mount. Im looking at the one from twistedthrottle.com but it doesnt show directions on the web page. It does say you must drill a couple hole through the tail section. Are there mounting holes on the tail section under the plastics or what. Thanks in advance.

The Givi SR770 topcase rack requires metal brackets to be bolted to the frame, then risers are attached to the mounting tabs on the brackets, which extend up through holes drilled into the standard tailpiece (template provided). The rack mounts on these extended risers. See this thread. You can read the instructions here.

The holes you need to drill (4) align with the optional mounting kit. If you don't have the mounting kit, Y mess up a beautiful machine. The folks at Twisted Throttle are great, ask them what you'll need or Google Givi. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. I havent ordered the topbox or mount yet. I was just wondering how difficult it was gonna be to mount. The wife feels better with something behind her while riding on the back and for the price of the sportrack and backrest, I can get the GIVI topcase for the extra storage and backrest for less money than the BRP setup.
