• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

GIVI saddlebag owners

Hey guys,
The 09' se5 I picked up came with the GIVI bags, and for my wheelchair to get close to the bike I have to pull them off. Plus I won't use them. The GIVI kit use's the same signal lights as the factory, so I'm putting it back to stock and it appears there is a missing middle piece or adapter. Is there a piece that goes in between the signal light and the bike?

Thanks fellas.

It all depends on the type of rack you have. I have the Industries7 rack that Shawn put out back in 2008. I do have a bar across the back but if you have a different set up you may not have a connecting bar between the bags. Don't know if you can see it in this picture or not:

it runs between the turn signal lights.

:congrats: on your Spyder and welcome

As I recall you just take the light assembly off the adaptor and put it back on the plastic part of the Spyder in the original mount. There is just a couple of tabs to twist it in. There maybe a washer that needs to be put on the back behind the plastic. See page 126 in the link: here. Hope this helps. BTW my set up is the Industries 7 style as well. The BRP racks or others might be different.
