• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gettysburg Battlefield to Antietam Battlefield

I have put together what I think is a nice ride through parts of South Central PA and Central MD. It begins in Gettysburg PA, travels to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg MD, south to Cunningham Falls State Park, north to Cactoctin Mountain Park, and finally southwest to Antietam National Battlefield. The entire ride (less touring time) is a bit over 2 hours. So far there are 3 of us doing the ride.

Here is the itinerary:
0900 Meet and Greet @ Ernie's Texas Lunch, 58 Chambersburg St., Gettysburg, PA
1000 Gen Robert E. Lee's Headquarters
1030 Gettysburg Battlefield
1130 Gen George G Meade Headquarters
1200 National Fallen Firefighters Memorial
1230 Cunningham Falls State Park and Beach
1245 Catoctin Mountain Park
1315 Antietam National Battlefield
1430 635 Dry Run Road, Martinsburg WV

I will provide a site for a post-ride BBQ. People can either bring their own (Martin's Supermarket within 1.5 miles) or I can provide for a "no profit" fee

Looking at 9 October
