• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

getting replacement lens for a 2008 GS SE5 fender lite w/o buying the whole assembly

The little tabs on the lens are not the strongest. Busted the holding pin off one some years ago, had to buy the WHOLE lens-bulb holder and wiring kit ($26)to replace just the friggin' lens. Fast forward to today, another one fell apart. This time $41. The dealer said it's no longer in the CanAm warehouse and would have to order from Vintage Parts.com.
Anyone know of a Junk yard with busted up CanAm's? Perhaps I could get the part cheaper? Thanks

Still got the busted lens? :dontknow:Maybe mount some other (redneck)way :bbq: not duct tape or bailing wire necessarily. Sorry not knowing size or shape of said parts, just guess work. DIY upgrades :ohyea: New style fenders with LED lights & no lens to fool with:thumbup: believe the new style made to fit larger diameter tires being the major difference so it might even just fit over the old fender:dontknow::popcorn: alternative spot lighting mounted to fender sidewall. Unknown legal requirements. Hopefully someone has a part for you:2thumbs:

thanks, gave up and bought the $40 assembly. Screw the legals...I have one painted red (Left or Port side) and one green (Right or Starboard side) as I'm former Navy
