Looking to purchasing a 2014 RT-Limited with matching trailer in Perl White, but two things had to happen.
First I needed to sell my 2011 Harley Road Guild Ultra with 28,000 miles on it. Thinking this time of year in Minnesota it would not sell until Spring.
The second thing was getting $20,000 trade in on my 2013 ST-Limited.
Two days ago a co-worker purchased my Harley, and yesterday I worked a deal out with a dealer for $18,000 trade in towards the price plus an additional $1,800 in add ons that I was planning on. This got me within $200 of my goal:yes:
The reason I stated closer is because the owner of the dealership wants me and my wife to test ride a 2014 RT before we complete the deal. He is hoping to have his demo in next week and he put me at the top of his list to call for the demo ride:clap::clap:
I dropped of my ST-L off yesterday for them to fixs the turnsignel as it does't always turn on when parsing for a left turn and the brake light staying on at times. It is a three hour ride from my house. Started out 55 and sunny, but quickly turned to a light rain that turned to a heavy rain with strong winds and the temp dropped to 44. I was very cold by the time I arrived, and kicking myself for not wearing my full face helmet and my heated jacket :banghead:liner:banghead:
