• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Gas Treatment

Had St Limited in for recall recently so while there asked if they would see why spyder would stall a few times when not started for a day, told that it was good when picked up after recall was completed. Now it will stall after I start it up and its warmed up and haven't put it into gear yet. Sometimes when its started after warmed up and driven it will sputter and idle at lower rpm below 1400rpm briefly before coming online. Called dealer and he told me to try adding seafoam gas treatment to the fuel tank any ideas on the mix ratio. (1oz per gal of gas)?

mine...2013 ST races at idle from 1000 to 2200rpm.....it wants to stall or race....but usually happens after a couple of hundred miles....not at start up

Could be water collected in the fuel from condensation or ethanol, but it really sounds like a bad purge valve or a similar vacuum leak, or a bad plug wire or coil. Could even be an ECM problem. I agree that it is the dealer's responsibility to address it and correct it if it is not the fuel supply. It does not hurt to try some Seafoam or Marine Stabil. The directions are on the label.
