• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

gas mileage for turbo?

Huligan speed is at speed limit.. I found that to be really true this past sunday going and coming from Sanford. I think Doc has a delimiter installed.. You know the old Thread Spool under the Foot gas pedal, but in his case a cable lock.

Is that Huligan ryding, or a more normal rate of speed:D:D:D
I thought that if you had a "hair dryer" on top of the motor the "normal" rate of speed HAD to be in the Huligan-zone.
(We don't need no stinking fuel mileage! We can get to the filling station quicker than anybody else around! :spyder2:)

:ohyea:

I've said this before, It's not how fast you go that affects MPG's;
It's how fast you get to how fast you want to go that affects MPG's :D

MPG

They both affect MPG.
:agree:But how fast you go has the greater effect. Once you get up to speed, the only thing that is consuming gas is the Drag presented, mostly, by the huge frontal area. I've always said that it is like pushing a barn door down the street. If there was no Drag, you could coast forever (theoretically). The Drag is a function of the Drag Coefficient (frontal area + other stuff) x the Square of Velocity. In other words if you increase your speed from, say, 20mph to 80mph (4X), the Drag increases by a factor of 16:yikes:. If we had a streamlined beast with a small frontal area, then acceleration up to speed might be significant.:lecturef_smilie:
My $0.02

Minimizing the percentage of twist in your right wrist, multiplied by your ablilty to resist passing all cars and sport bikes that you see have the greatest effect on your MPG. Lack of control in either or both of these will get you around 22-24 mpg.

Hey, thats just about what Doc gets.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::clap::clap:

No point in having the Turbo if yer not running it like a Huligan! :doorag:
