garmin nuvi 660 gps

I have been trying all day to install the lifetime maps update that i purchased into my 660
and the message comes up " not supported by foxfire" so i went to another computer and got this message " not supported by chrome " HELP:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

:agree: contact Garmin. I had the same problem and was assisted by a knowledgeable, English speaking, and friendly customer service tech. They were working on a compatibility fix for Firefox at that time (~2 months ago), but don't know if they got it worked out. The NuMaps Lifetime update is not quite so straight forward as one would think as it requires a relatively obscure plugin "Communicator" that has been suspect to scrutiny by several malware engines. I opted to run the plug in to get the job done with the on-phone guidance of Garmin tech support, then promptly removed the plugin. Best of luck!
