• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there an anti theft thingie for the Zumo 660 as delivered with -14 RTS? I did like the small screw of the 550... The 660 is even easier to take away than a 550 with the thumb screw: meaning have to take it off every time you are off the Spyder??

When I stop for a while away from home I will take it off and put it in the storage case that come with it. I then lock it up with my helmet, gloves, jacket and all the other stuff I don't want to carry. When I stop and the Spyder won't be far away. I will put my jacket over it and the helmet on the seat.

I also set the security code on the Garmin, then at least if someone steals it they can't use it or sell it. Also made a custom splash screen with my contact info. So if a good samaritan or police find it maybe I will get it back.

It would be nice if some sort of antitheft device could be bought...
(After all; I'm all about spending money! :D)
Does anybody out there know of anything that's currently available? :dontknow:

I put a tie wrap around the mount and locking lever that is difficult to remove and blocks the release lever. Works good.

I made a tiny black plastic block that fit behind the lever and covered with a tiny strip of black electrical tape. This isn't "very" secure but to some folks it is a bit of a deterrent. If parked for very long, I simply put it in my frunk.
