• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FYI Goldwing rubber gromets

gromets

I just bought rubber gromets for the oil tank cover side from orchard supply and they work great. A whopping $1.98 for 4.

GW grommets

Been using Gold Wing grommets from day one..after the OEM grommets pushed out the back side of the grommet hole... They work great. Suggested by dealer. However, they must be the correct shape and super glued into grommet holes.. Just another happy GW grommet user.... Len

Len, the grommets I bought were in fact smaller in size then BP ones are. I did glue them in place but I felt panel pulled off with to little effort. What I did was use wing grommets on the top side panels since they fasten down with screws on both ends. I glued all the grommets in place. Have had problems with L. side oil tank panel and dealer has ordered the new improved panel and grommet set. My bike is one of those early dealer demo bike,s 000189
