The forest fires made the views a little harder to shoot photod but the Park is still beautiful.

What in the heck drops in pine cone of that size??? :yikes:

We take them from our trees; coat them with peanut butter, and hang them in a Maple tree near the house. The squirrels go NUTZ with them. Something of that size, would probably take four pounds of Skippy's finest, and the squirrels would elect us as their King and Queen! :yes:

Looks like a great trip even with the fires. Glad it was safe enough for you to visit. Was in the area last three years and there were fires each time..Fun fun..:2thumbs: looks familiar...

Fun Weekend Ryde

Sorry I left out that we were in Yosemite Park , One of the highlights was as we were leaving the park on Hyw. 41 we had a bear run across the road but had no time to snap a photo.

Been there many times. Nice ride. I know a fellow pilots son who jumped off El Capitan to film a commercial. He used a kite and was immediately arrested when he landed. Was also paid $5000 by the company that he did the commercial for. Was around late 60's or early 70's. His last name was Jobe. Company paid is fine and bail.
