• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I can't believe when I bought gas this morning I paid $3.69, 4 hours later it is $4.49 a gallon. :banghead: Looks like this huricane is going to be real bad for lots of people. Coastal flooding is already trapping hundreds of people 12 hour before the storm gets there. Good luck to everyone in the way.

Converting our price of $1.366 / litre to US$ per US Gallon ours is now $4.93 a gallon in Toronto. Thank God the Cdn Dollar is strong or it would be a lot more! BUT I sill love L'il Miss Muffett

We'd better all hope that the refineries in the Gulf make it through without significant damage or it may get much worse than that. Something like 25%+ of all of our refined products come from the Gulf coast.

I was just watching the news. they said the average price in Atlanta went up today by .34 the showed one station where the price was $5.25 and another was $5.20 both of these were Ingles Supermarkets. They showed another station were Yesterday it was 3.59, today 4.59 $1.00 a gal in 1 day. the average price seems to be be about $3.80 to $3.90

:( I justed talked to a coworker who said he heard news reports of up to $6 a gallon if the hurricane does too much damage. That will not bode well for most Americans. :( I'm not sure what the current prices are around town here but it was $3.95 at most stations for about three days, up from $3.71 the beginning of the week.

Isnt there a law against price gouging. Its not like the gas companies aren't already making a huge profit but then they hike up the price when there's a natural disaster and people are already struggling. If anything they should lower their prices since they know that most people already have to come out of pocket for hotel rooms in order to relocate to a safer place. :chill:

Price gouging laws vary from state to state.

johnboyjohn.pretious - while we might have it 'good' on gas over here - we also have GW Bush.

Care to trade? :D

Talked to several people this evening saying several gas stations here are running out. If everyone would just calm down things would not be near as bad.

I just filled up my car and Spyder at 3.54 a gallon for Premium in Austin. With all the people evacuating to Austin, some places have gone up about 20 cents a gallon, while others have kept the same price.

Its been kinda cool watching the weather change and the winds pick up.

Went from $3.64 this morning to $4.14 this evening. How the heck is this legal? I don't get it.:banghead::cus::cus::cus::cus::cus::cus::cus::cus::cus:

GW Bush has kept your butt safe since 9/11/01. Care to move to another country?

Love this country but I do believe it has been the military that has kept my butt safe. GW has ties to oil companies - I bet he likes the price.

My wife just talked to her parents, they are in Tenesse visiting in their RV, they are retired and going to hang around for a while because gas is being rationed....10 gallon limit.

Last time I checked, he was on vacation somewhere. If you want to know the truth....... most of the intelligence information comes from concerned citizens. Like that planned attack on a military base. I really dont know Homeland Security's function but maybe I can get a job with them when I retire:D. The government needs to step in and stop the madness. Why are gas prices going up all over the country? Did the corporations not make BILLIONS in profits while people were struggling just to put gas in their car to get to work. Where are our priorities? I could go on but I feel my PTSD will kick in and I will have to go and massacre a village of ants. :joke:
