• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front trunk adjustment - any way to adj the latch or add shims?

I was messing around with my 2016 RTSE6 today, and I found that the front trunk outside edges were very loose, to the point they were making noise when going over bumps. I start looking things over and I found that there are rubber shims on each side of the top of the lid. The trouble is there probably a 1/4 to 3/8” off from touching any surface. They’re also kind of firm rather than soft. Is there anyway to adjust the latch or to add shims to the outside corners of the trunk? I’ve checked YouTube videos and can find nothing on this.

Yes the Frunk Latching mechanism can be adjusted.... ( but not a lot ) .... I added a couple pieces of " self-stick door weather-strip " to the corners..... this firmed up the hood ..... Mike
