• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front Tires

Just wondering if anyone rotated their front tires without a problem. On the side walls it shows rotation to the front. When they are rotated, the arrows point to the rear. Not looking for any problems but just wondering.
Thanks

The Owners Manual recommends rotating the fronts every 6K miles I believe

I don't have the manual in front of me, so the miles I stated may be a little different, but the answer to your question is YES, the STOCK front tires that come on the Spyder can and should be rotated. We took ours off the Spyder and took them to Walmart & they rotated, balanced and remounted them back on the rims for us for about $20

The front tires are rotated left to right and right to left..and you must remove from rims..keeping the arrows the same as before...Rotation does not involve REAR.....and unless you can get it done dirt cheap it is not worth the very small savings you will gain.....You should consider Premium car tires (185/60-14) to replace the Kenda's when they wear out....there has been much discussion of car tires here in the past 20 months do a search....Mike...

'Rotation' of Spyder front tires is actually remove, dismount, remount on the other wheel, ballance and re-install. You do not just swap wheels from one side to another. This would result in a directional tire spinning the wrong way.

front tires

it says in the manual to take tires off rims and rotate. I took the tires and rims to Sam's club. they did it plus spin balanced them for around 8 bucks
