• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front Brake Pad Clips

I have a 2009 RS SE5. I'm trying to do a front brake job using some non-OEM brake pads. While taking off the old brake pads I busted the little clips that go on the back of them. Does any one know where I can get just these clips for a reasonable price. My local dealer says he can get me the clip and a bleeder screw for $21 a piece, and I. We'd four of the clips. Plus. He would have to order them.

Shockingly, that is the price you have to pay. The rear is just as bad, so be extra careful when you swap out pads using aftermarket ones - they do not come with new clips.

If you use oem pads, you get new clips + new pads. So all you riders that swap out your pads with oem ones, save the old spring clips as you can easily sell them for $10 each. they can be posted for one 1st class postage stamp.

What a rip off you cannot get these clips unless you buy a set of oem pads!
