• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello everyone

I found a 2008 Spyder with 266km on board in a heated garage and I bought it...and I love it!

Coming from water where you need big hp to move.

I have lots of questions, most of themSpyder.jpg technical, like 3 recalls I have, so see you on this forum.

Welcome to the forum Sergiu1. :congrats: on the new to you Spyder GS, looks like a real nice one! I hope you enjoy it. You can find lots of good information here in your 2008 Spyder GS in the different areas of the forum. If you have any questions just ask in the area that applies and I sure someone or many will reply. Make sure and post a photo of your new ride in the Spyder Garage area of the forum. :2thumbs:

I grew up riding and racing sleds (snowmobiles) in my teens and 20's. I can't believe it took me almost 3 years to jump off the fence and just buy one already. I have never looked back, I have a 12 Model RSS I have done a fair amount of work to over the winter. I look forward to the riding season. I also look forward to getting rid of the 3 bikes I have (at least two of them) and getting into a Ryker. With my snowmobile experience, I think I will take to the Ryker 900 like a duck to water, it has the "CVT" tranny which looks a lot like a snowmobile drive to me....lol

I also raced sleds....sno X...... back in the day. I have a 2012 RS that I really like but the Ryker is more fun and its more fun cause its more like a sled. The engine, CVT....it all comes right off the snowmobile. If you like sleds you'll love the Ryker. I just wish the seat was a couple inches taller. You sit up higher on the sleds.
