• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FOUR CORNERS TOUR

Howdy All,

A friend and I are riding our Spyders on the Four Corners Tour:dg1: :2excited:leaving out 06 Jun [our actual "Tour" start date will begin when we reach Key West, FL]. After we complete the "Tour" we will end up in Santa Fe, NM for our 2016 76th Motor Maid Convention.

We plan on having our Spyders serviced somewhere near Grand Rapids, Minnesota. We're looking for a reliable dealer who could get us in and out. Any and all suggestions are welcome - even if we have to re-route some of our trip.

Just a tip of the hat to ALL the informative posts I have read - most have really helped me get "Pony" set-up for the trip - ALL y'all are AWESOME!! :2thumbs:

That sounds like an epic ryde! I hope you'll post here frequently about the tour and post lots of pics, of course.

How long do you expect it to take?

If I can figure out how to post pics:helpsmilie: I would be more than happy to post.

We have a total of 21 days to complete the Four Corners.

I know there's a dealer in Grand Rapids, but Casswell Cycle in Mora is a great dealer and a forum sponsor.
They're very involved in Spyders - most MN Spyderlovers rides start from their dealership.

I would suggest calling dealers now. When we were on our trip we weren't scheduling very tight because we wanted the freedom to chase squirrels if the situation popped up. Ended up needing a rear tire going into Utah, tried calling dealers along the route explaining our situation about being on a long trip, etc. First dealer I talked to said he would be glad to get us in - in three weeks. Fortunately the third dealer had a tire and was willing to work with us on getting in and out.

Hopefully with some prior planning and coordination your down time will be minimal. Have a safe and pleasant trip.
