For those with BRP Traile Module

I have had to replace my trailer module a couple of times. BRP wants $148.00 for a new one. It is mad by Hopkins Manufacturing Corporation. I sent them an email asking if I could send them a defective module and have them refurbish it. Here is there reply.

Unfortunately, we do not offer any service to refurbish these units. I do apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause, but our only option would be the purchase of a new unit. On a vehicle such as yours we have learned, from consumers like yourself, that the best option are the Power Converters. Part numbers 46365 and 46255, would be the ones we would typically see sold to be used on your vehicle. Both are under $45.00 you will have change the plugs.

I just put my unit on & by the looks of it it's encapsulated. Meaning that after getting it together & working they fill the case up with epoxy to weather proof it and also to make it more rugged. Hope this helps for the no repair reason.
