• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Foot Peg Change

I had to do something with the skinny pegs supplied with the Spyder. This mod replaces the to Rider pegs. These pegs are off my Goldwing and are sold by Wingstuff. They are adjustable so you can angle them as you like.

I included some images of the finished product. The toe shifter on the Spyder is on a cam so you can loosen the peg and rotate it to suit your best shifting angle. While I can reach my shifter pretty good i still need to reposition the shifter arm on the shaft. I could not get it loose, so it seems I might need a puller - has anyone removed theirs yet?

Much to my regret these would not work for the passenger pegs does anyone know of any wider pegs that will work on the rear?

Here's the site for the pegs:

Hey if I understand what you are asking, To remove & adjust the shifter peg, you remove the set screw all the way. then the shifter peg should pull straight out.
Hope that helps. I struggled with it the first time my self.

I didn't have any problem with the end piece (cam) - I'm trying to remove the whole shifter arm and re-position it.

Thanks

On other bikes I was able to put a flat screwdriver in the slot and spread it a bit and then it should slide right off.

Those are nice!
Did you use the same adapter as on the wing? (I believe most are using the Kuryakyn adapter 7939 when replacing pegs)

What's the clearance relative to the right break pedal?

The brake pedal is better then ever - before with the stock peg, I had to hold my foot in a toe-up uncomfortable position to keep my foot over the pedal. Now as I park my foot on the wide peg, my toe is right over the brake pedal in a natural position.
