• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. FOBO like Tire Preassure sensors

If I'm reading this correctly, it has it's own dedicated display to monitor the tires instead of a Smart Phone app like Fobo has?

I'm curious to hear how this works out for you. I'm very pleased with the performance of the FOBO, but always open to new ideas.

Pam

I can see that they aren't as good as the FOBOs but if you can only afford these then they should work. I have FOBO and like them a LOT.:yes:

If your a ham radio operator, with the comms at 433 Mhz, if using 440 radio's will kill the unit and false the alarm.

Ask the right questions...

I recently purchased a very similar set through Amazon. I was surprised to find out that the hi/low pressure alarm and temperature alarm settings were one set of values and applied to all tires. Not good on a Spyder with the big difference in front and rear tire pressures. I returned to amazon and purchased the FOBO tpms. Does anyone know if you can set different alarm values for each tire and the suspension bladder with the set Above?

Tyre pressure sensors

So what do you do with the 4th one, obviously you can't use it, does'nt the alarm go all the time as the 4th one has no pressure?

I was going to buy one off ebay, but the seller said it won't work if you don't use them all.

Is anyone actually using a 4 tyre system on 3 whells?

I dunno what 4 sensor system that salesman was trying to sell you, but I reckon he's deliberately leading you up the garden path in an attempt to scare you with utter rubbish!! I've used a few of these TPM systems, in fact, most of those I've used have been 4 sensor systems (not all on trikes tho!) and NOT ONE of those 4 sensor systems ever had ANY issues running with just 3, 2, or even only 1 sensor sending info to the monitor/phone, just so long as the sensors not in use were turned off (or their battery was taken out)!! Sure, if you pulled them straight off the valve stems & just put them in your pocket while they were still 'on', the software responded with alerts about the loss of pressure or the low pressure they were reporting, but how many people wouldn't think of shutting those sensors down when they took them off the valve so they didn't report at all?? Or simply not turning them on in the monitor if you didn't/weren't going to fit them??? You might hafta turn off the 'no signal' alert or the warning that the sensor there isn't working once, but once done you won't hear any more from it until you change that! My current 4 sensor Tyre Dog TPMS is working fine on my 2013 RT without the 4th monitor on or showing, & I don't get any alarms about of from that 4th sensor.

So I'm reasonably sure that you shouldn't have any issues running just 3 sensors of most 4 sensor systems, just so long as the 4th sensor isn't in your pocket or dumped in the frunk & still turned on/set up on your system.

I think that this set, has some issues. The FOBO bike set comes with 2 and you buy the 3rd for the back tire. Or if you want to monitor the air shock you buy a 4th one. I bought the FOBO car one and you get 4 units which you need. You can set each tire's pressure different. When towing my bike on the trailer, I take the two off my bike's front tires and reset them for the trailer.

FOBO is different from the cheaper ones, I'm guessing.
