• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Flying 3'x5' Flags from a 2016 Can-Am Spyder RT S with Can-Am trailer hitch installed

I would like to be able to fly two (2) 3'x5' flags from my new (of 10 days!) RT-S when participating in Patriot Guard Rider missions. I had the trailer hitch installed in the hope that I could find a bracket to use with the hitch in order to fly the two flags. I have looked at what info I could find on this site, but nothing works. Short of having a bracket custom made, does anyone have any info about such a bracket? Thanks in advance for your help!

Flag Holder

Try going to Rivcoproducts.com and look for PF1000. This should work for you with the hitch. I had one on my Victory vision and it worked fine.

I can understand 1 large flag but two is asking a lot of any bracket:lecturef_smilie:
All my PGR buds with large flags have custom poles of PVC with whatever clamp or bracket they need for their bike. & only for the short escort runs under 30mph. Its ez enough to DIY one you just need to inspect & chat with those that have them, maybe they have an old one that will work better for you¿ Nothing wrong with the smaller bike flag, its a procession not a parade:gaah::p

However seal teal did tackle this possibly with the universal hitch mount

Fyi i emailed him & this was reply:

I've taken that item off my website until I can make it stronger. Two lg. flags put tremendous pressure of a mount and can actually tear the steel plate holding the tubes. Will address the problem next Spring. I appreciate the heads-up.

I use an Amateur Radio mobile whip that is up on a fiberglass stick to get the antenna higher for better range, which would be about like a flag. It was to be temporary for one event but it stayed on the hitch for quite a while. It doesn't look all that great but it was a temporary measure, if you wanted to make one better looking you could.

I used a square u-bolt, some aluminum L-bracket material and tubing and a couple of hose clamps.

I hade a custom made adapter and used the Rivco flag holder for 1 flag. I added Stainless steel cabling that prevents the flag from bending back at speed.

Check with John Anderson owner, designer of Sealfloorboards....he had designed what you want and sold a couple years ago...He is a site sponsor..Merry Christmas

I think I read that John has removed the dual flag holder from sale because the material could fail but I am not sure. Check with him, he makes quality products.
