• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FLOORBOARD OR PEG HOTFOOT ?

For those of us experiencing right hot foot: do you have floorboards or pegs? I was just wondering if maybe it's the floorboards making your foot hotter. Because I have an RT and I don't experience a lot of right foot heat but my wife as the passenger has experienced right calf heat. Most of my heat seems to be coming from the glovebox area. After a ride pop the seat and the backbone of the bike is very hot to the touch even sounds like the gas is boiling. Our rides have been all under two hours.

boards

i have the floorboards and find it very hot and today i ran into a member here with the boards and he said it doesn't really bother him. so who knows, my bike runs very hot

I have ridden with both and there's not a lot of difference except with the boards, you can easily move your foot around to find a cooler spot.

I have Seal Pup Floorboards, Spyderpops Cat Shield, and SpyderKool passenger board plugs. The wife no longer complains about right foot/calf heat.
