• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First Spyder "ownership" ends as a disappointment

I might cop an attitude too if you said "that's a bunch of crap and a douche move!" Who had the attitude first??:roflblack:

Did you read it? The OP got screwed. I would say the seller had the attitude first. I would have called him worse names than that, and given neg feedback and opened a case with Paypal. Screw that twat.:banghead:

This whole mess has lots of room for tension... nojoke
Rather than worry about who got mad first: why not hope that the O.P.'s next experience goes WAY better...

Who the heck puts something on eBay to sell and forgets about the ad?

I really think that the OP dodged a bullet here. If the seller was that dishonest, I can imagine what the bike was like. Just because it has low mileage doesn't mean that it was a good deal.

My cousin bought a motorcycle with really low mileage off eBay from a Florida dealer a number of years ago for a smoking price...until he got the bike and had to spend about $1000 in repairs because the bike sat around for so long and the carbs were so gummed up. He tried to get some money back, but was only able to get back $300 from the seller via eBay. It also had an semi auto clutch assembly added that was not in the ad. It would have ended up costing close to $700 to change it back with the needed parts. He decided to trade the bike on another locally. I have bought a couple bikes off eBay without any issues, but there are quite a few morons out there selling stuff on eBay.

Chances are the seller got offered more money and took it. Lame excuses are free....
