Like many of you others, I have been waiting about four weeks for the big day. Was almost ready two weeks ago, and then Mother Nature blessed us with another 18 inches of snow.
Yesterday, finally, the drive way was cleared enough of the ice and snow to allow us to do our first ryde of the season.
Both :spyder2:'s fired up right away after their sleep on the battery tenders since October. We took them for a 50 mile warm up ryde. It sure felt good being on the :ani29:'s again and having some wind in our faces.
We intend to do more of the same today, and I am guessing a couple hundred miles or so. Another beautiful, blue sky day and we are supposed to have temps in the mid 40's.
Also got to try the new Sena SMH10 communicators in the field. Bottom line--I think they are great! I like the fact that I can leave the intercom on and we can talk at will without having to talk into the mouthpiece to "wake the unit up" like on the Cardo's. They worked flawlessly bike to bike and there is no static or other noise in your ear when not talking. I am a believer in the Sena units.
